i don't see UNC as a favorite to win their division with a new QB, for example. They could win it but that division is always a crapshoot.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Virginia Tech and Miami competing next year for a division title.

If either of you really knew anything about Carolina football you would know that in many circles Trubisky is thought to be a much superior quarterback to Williams and should have been playing as the starter all year.

I wouldn't go that far to say he should have been playing all year, but let's just say there shouldn't be any dropoff from this year.

I would!
The several practices that I attended before the season started showed Trubisky to be much more accurate and with a quicker release than Marquise. He was able to think quicker, too!

MW was a proven senior that was fighting for an NFL draft spot?

Locker Room. If they were really 1a and 1b then it made sense to start Marquis especially if not doing it would have caused a rift.

If Jackson can progress as a passer and we shore up the OL, we should have a really good team. Bringing back at least 18 starters, and all of the key defensive guys who were thinking about leaving early.

Trubisky is a better passer than MW, but MW was having success, so it would have killed the locker room to make the change. MW was able to make plays last season when the line couldn't block anyone and he was able to make plays when things broke down. He just was not an accurate passer. He also is third all time in the ACC in TDs and he started only 2.5 years, so it is had to bench a senior with those numbers.

FSU is going to be explosive on offense next year....if they replace some people one D, then look out

Clemson looks like they return a ton of people as well.

I think Louisville can make a jump and challenge FSU and Clemson. Miami, VT, and Virginia all could be better as well, and North Carolina is the new team to beat in the Coastal

The ACC is getting a hell of a lot better

Both divisions should be at least 3 teams deep next year. Let's hope it works out that way in the real...

Just wanted to know, and didn't follow UNC's backup QB situation as close as I should have.

Trubisky is watching our high school bball team right now 2 rows in front of me. A lot bigger than when he played here.

Will be fun to watch him next year. I'm hoping to get to Tallahassee to see fsu vs unc

UNC is going to have to figure out how to stop the run to expect them to contend next year in the ACC, unless none of their ACC opponents have improved from this year.

It wouldn't surprise me that much if G Tech won that division next year.

Personally, I think we've seen the last of GT winning the Coastal for a while.

As for UNC being able to stop the run, it will improve. We had a very young DL so they'll have another year under their belt with more depth coming in. It will also be the 2nd year with the defensive staff so they know what they need to work on in the offseason. Besides, outside of GT, no one in the Coastal is scary running the ball.

So if both sides improve at the same rate then it doesn't matter.

have any sports websites done a list of all the players graduating and leaving early for NFL, for each team?

they have Alabama way too high with no proven QB for next year and losing a lot on defense.

Come on Clem. Bama can have one of us at QB and they'd still be ranked that high. It's Bama.
