My friend texted me this: Thompson is the only player in the NCAA in the top 10 in both FG% and rebounds per game.

That's insane! He might get some draft looks after this year if he keeps this up!

Ray Lee 10-13(fg) 5-7(3p) shooting for 32 points
James Thompson 8-8(fg) shooting for 19 points and 14 boards
Jodan Price 7-10(fg) 5-7(3p) shooting for 19 points plus 3 assists.
Mangum 5-9(fg) 3-6(3p) shooting for 19 points

Great games from the usual suspects... AND PRICE!?!?!?

He had a very decent stats game against N. Florida. But this really catches the eye. Hope this is the start of something.

Lee's game was extraordinary even beyond his normally high expectations. Nice to see him get 38 minutes.

In addition to some nice defense, Bond had 5 assists. And a couple of those assists were RIDICULOUS!!

Toney only with 10 minutes today. But don't worry, probably just because so many were so hot. He'll get his share of those.

Soft hands, doesn't force anything, good composure...he seems way older than 19. Quite a polished player.

He still has some defensive lapses where he gets jumpy (Fowler and Simmons shook him a bit in the first half), but man can he rebound?! We got ourselves a gem. I don't know what the future holds for him, but I'll certainly enjoy the ride.

Yes, that is unfortunate. (For EMU fans). His skill and moreso potential so DAMN obvious that he would be a draft pick this year. But I bet he plays another year to bring his draft position up. No more than that.

I think NIU scored 4 points in a half against your D. That was just 2 or 3 years ago. I'm hoping those days are gone. But I don't want to see you score 100 on us either.

Poor Keno looked like he had gas all night -- Pale, sweaty, and very uncomfortable in his own skin.

Maybe he drank with Bob W. before the game?

On Twitter, Chad Bush pointed out Thompson has made an EMU-record 20 consecutive FG attempts. He's 17/17 his last two games.

RE: Game Week: @CMU and @NIU
I have one last thought on CMU:

As others have mentioned, it is good to beat UDM, CMU, etc.

Much different PR wise to beat CMU than say Kent State or Akron.

IF we and Oakland don't make the NCAAs, it would be fun to play them (again) in the NITs.
