Not sure how a 2,500 seat stadium makes the list. I suspect it is there just so the author can mention the Georgetown cheer of Hoya, Saxa. It would have been even more impressive if he actually knew what it meant.

He indicates that it is a Latin phrase meaning "what rocks?". He got the words right, but not the punctuation. It isn't a question, but an exclamation: What rocks! It was devised by a resident Jesuit priest after a sportswriter referred to their defense as a stone wall.

It still doesn't make their stadium special, though.

This might be one of the stupidest things you have ever posted and by God that says a lot.

The problem with lists like these is that the reviewers are all different. Some of the reviews are done by alumni of the school they're reviewing (not exactly unbiased), most are done by strangers. Also, each review was done under varying circumstances. For example, the Yager Stadium review at Miami was done during a weeknight game in an absolute downpour from kickoff through the fourth quarter. It's not like we're Death Valley, but comparing us to teams that have a normal Saturday game (or an event like homecoming) doesn't make for an accurate list.

I have seen some high school stadiums look like their's. It is just depends where the high school is located, and how rabid the whole town supports their team in big towns.

True. It does look like some high school stadiums. Below are some examples of high school stadiums in Texas. As you can see, the comparison with a high school stadium is not necessarily a bad thing. (There are a whole lot more examples in Texas. This is just a quick look.)

Here's an 18,000 seat high school stadium in the Dallas area.

Another one, John Clark Field in Plano, Texas has a capacity of 14,224.

Here are two near me (west Houston area).

At 9,768 capacity, Jack Rhodes stadium in Katy, Texas is close to Brooks Stadium's current size (9,214). Brooks is expanding to +20,000 though.

Katy ISD is building a new 12,000 seat stadium next to Rhodes to help get games in for the eight high schools in the district. (The article notes seven high schools currently playing football. There is also a new high school that should field a team near the time the new stadium is ready for use. Katy ISD only had three high schools when we moved here 20 years ago.)

Below is an image of the Berry Center Stadium in the Cypress Fairbanks ISD. (10,492 capacity) Cy-Fair has ten high schools.
