Tiger Football Podcast
Not sure if any of you listened but Geoff talked about how Coach Fuente was sitting at home in Memphis watching the bowl game, wanting to coach, but was not allowed to. Sounds like a quitter who gave up on the team to me.

Someone should have patched him through to Coach Dickey's headset so he could have done the play calling.

I'm sure it was hard for the players not having CJF standing on the sidelines for that game.

Who decided that he couldn't coach?

If he is under contract to another school, he can't coach the game.

Not sure about that. Kirby Smart is the DC for AL and will be the HC for UGA after Monday's game. He is coaching for AL and recruiting for GA.

Dickey didn't call the plays in the bowl game from what I understand. Had too many additional duties as fill in head coach. I believe Brad did the play calling.

Doesn't matter now. Fuente had a chance to fun the table and cashed out early. I'm sure he will always wonder what might have been when he thinks about the game on a romantic level. Cold hard dollars run NCAA football and from that perspective Fuente traded the dream for a contract of a lifetime. Can't really blame him as I'm sure I would have done the same.

Brad was in VT recruiting. Dickey called all that stuff.
