UNT Lands K State DT
[Image: Bryce-English.jpg]

Bryce English, a 320 pound DT is transferring to North Texas from Kansas State, to be closer to his family. Bryce's father, who played for North Texas, has been diagnosed with cancer. English was the 30th best DT in the nation as ranked by Rivals.com. When he signed with K State, English held offers from Texas, UCLA, Wisconson, Arizona State, TCU, Arkansas, and Iowa.

Littrell is quickly improving the talent level at key positions, and he has started to compete with regional rivals for higher level recruits. SMU and Houston were also in the running for the English. Stay tuned. More additions are on the way.

SMU is a regional rival. Houston is a G5 in the State of Texas. So....yes. I know UH just beat Florida State, but at the end of the day, you're still a G5. Plus, your name is "Farmer Jack" and you have a reputation of -43. That can't be good for humanity or any sort of credibility in life.

I like the get. Look what USM was able to do with their program after bringing in some athletes from other schools. Not sure how many actually played for them this past season I must admit, but more competition helps all around.

Kincade is a more interesting scenario. He has already used his redshirt and isn't graduating, so he would sit out 2016 and be a one-and-done for 2017. NT already has a 2016 one-and-done coming in this year from Bama (Morris). It would allow Littrell to easily redshirt and groom a HS guy from this class.

Good get for UNT! Tech has been doing pretty good with kur rent for a year Qbs in the last two years. USM also did a really good with all the transfers last year. UNT could be very competitive next year if your coach can get some one year wonder in key positions.

I was talking with another USM fan about this yesterday. We had one of our 4 or 5 transfers with 1 year of eligibility come in and start a majority of the games. That was DT Andrew Bolton, and he had a good seasons. LB Anthony Swain started a few games due to injury, and was probably the other transfer that had the biggest impact on the field. RB, Justice Hayes, was the #3 RB. His presence allowed another RB to be able to redshirt. We had another DT that moved up and down the depth chart between 2nd and 3rd team, and an OT that was #2 at LT who played a good bit in a backup role before quietly being dismissed (or leaving) late in the season.

So, most of these guys added competition and provided depth, which was very valuable this year.

Bryce English was once committed to UCLA...... after originally being committed to the University of Texas. Then he signed with KSU. Now UNT.

But he must not have played much in 2015 at KSU. I can't find any game or season stats on him.
