Sak losing his red shirt was justified as was Fiedler (he saved Santa's red shirt). The others were not justified, a waste of a year for talented players.

How can you call the two RBs a waste? its not a video game. You need more than two RBs active.

I view both RBs and Corcoran's situation to be similar to Beebe's, what we gained in terms of reps and game impact did not justify losing the red shirt year.

Because we were fortunate from a RB health perspective with Huff and ACRB. You can't plan to only play 2 RB's all year...we needed to get them experience in case our RB's did get beat up, which is common. They also played on special teams.

I view the decision as we have a decent transfer RB getting into the rotation in 2016 and one of the 2 true Sophomore guys can easily red shirt in 2016 while the other plays ST and is the 3rd or 4th stringer.

No. Harris got hurt the first game and then the two freshman played. No way of knowing if Carey would have still burned both of their red shirts had Harris had not been injured right out of the gate.
