Future of the SEC East?
I think this year was the worst year I've ever seen for the SEC East....

BUT, someone has to win, and I think whoever that someone is, they'll start to dominate....

I like Tennessee and South Carolina to become the dominant teams. Tennessee has been slowly getting better, and I think they become the top East team

Georgia - I think they are a question mark...jury will be out on them

Florida - their good D is attributable to Muschamp. Their offense was non-existant. I think Florida is in trouble and they descend into mediocrity.

South Carolina - I think what you see at Florida is what you'll get from Muschamp Coaching round 2. Maybe he'll be better with the offense this time around, but I think the Gamecock D will get good fast. I think they're going to compete...

Missouri - I thought they were lucky to win the East for a few years, and with Pinkel gone, I think they start falling....they are SEC basement-bound

Kentucky - ehhhh, maybeeeee, probably not

I think Florida will be running things in the East before too long. McElwain looks like a cut above the rest of the coaches.

How so? they got blasted in their last 3 games and their defensive stars are leaving

I thought Tenn was going to step up this year. Lot of young talent, guess they were not quite ready. 2016 might be their year.

As bad as they were they still handled the rest of their division. I expect them to only get better as he continues there.

RE: Future of the SEC East?
think I heard Florida may be getting a graduate transfer QB.

where I think it's hard for Florida and Tennessee- they have probably the 2 best SEC west teams as permanent rivals in LSU and Alabama respectively.

RE: Future of the SEC East?
Let's be real....as far as team standings go, not much is going to change.

Vandy - blah. Same as usual. Nothing is going to chagne here since they are still at the bottom with recruiting.

Missouri - new head coach so they are an unknown. Will likely battle behind TN, FL and UGA for the next decade.

South Carolina - hired a guy that got fried from Florida. Florida is easier to recruit to. Good luck!

Florida - I think they will get better than they were this year on offense. On defense they will take a step back for the immediate future. They got absolutely destroyed at the end of the season. I don't see them becoming the Florida of Spurrier's era.

UGA - an unknown. Plenty of local talent so they will always have talent. Their new head coach seems to be wanting to be Nick Saban without being Nick Saban. Every interview that nut has been doing lately is always about Nick Saban this and Nick does things this way and that way. Blah blah. He needs to be himself and I fear he is going to try and be Nick Saban and not succeed at it. The new staff he is putting together is a step down from what the previous UGA coach had.

TN - not going to return to glory, but should do well and find themselves in an SEC title.

KY - blah. blah.

In the next decade: UGA, TN and Florida will be the top 3 with Florida likely to come out on top more often than the other 2.

Bottom: Vandy and KY.

Probably some parity among Florida, UT, Georgia, although one could emerge as dominant.

RE: Future of the SEC East?
The future of the SEC East is as follows. Tennessee will finally be able to split up from their more southernly divisional fellows. They will finally be a King of their own division rather than just the court jester. Missouri and Kentucky will soon be with them, leaving the southern schools of the East division to finally have to play fair within their own division.

Georgia, Florida and South Carolina joined by Auburn in a single division? Sorry South Carolina but your Head Coaching job will soon fall a few pegs on the overall coaching ladder. This may become the most contested division in all of college football when we switch over to the new system.

What is this? A controlled scientific test to see just how low the ratings for the CFP could possibly go? 04-cheers

We've been biding our time, brothers. The SEC will be quaking in their collective boots next year when the new season starts at what the mighty Wildcats have in store for the league.

Oh, we're talking about football? My bad. I'll see myself out!

New Mizzou coach is building a great staff. Mizzou will compete.
Florida will contend for titles, Tennessee and UGA will contend for SEC titles, Mizzou and maybe USC will be a big factor every so often, UK and Vandy will continue to struggle.

Well, the last two years the B1G West has made Tennessee look like a world beater.

I would've thought the same as you, after last year's bowl win ...
