Exclamation AAC Football Recruiting Rankings per 247
http://247sports.com/Season/2016-Footbal...erence=AAC

The top five are
1.Houston
2.SMU
3.USF
4.Memphis
5.Temple

I am very surprise Cincy is 8th. They are usually one of our stronger recruiting teams heading into the live period.

Really need to wait until the end for judgment because part of the factors are quantity, but houston has a great class.

This is more of a preview before NSD. I already know Memphis is working on flipping some prospects. Hoping we flip ILB Tim Hart who is committed to Tennessee right now.

We're def being penalized for having such a small class. 8 out of 11 are 3* though.

Hoping for a late strong push from Frost. I'm hearing, not only is he changing the offense, but the defense too. No idea what our needs going forward will be, but they will be many. Next year will not be kind, but hoping to improve over the season and get at least one win we're not supposed to.

USF will finish no lower than 2nd. SMU has 23 recruits listed. USF only has 14 commits and that's why SMU is currently 2nd. USF's average per recruit is much higher than SMU. You're penalized for not having a complete class yet.

Terrell Smith said on Pirate Radio last night that Coach Mo has "a few surprises" for us, and that we've got multiple recruits that aren't listed right now.

I honestly think that if he comes out in the next couple of days with some new faces, this fanbase will breathe and immediate sigh of relief and start getting pumped. At the end of the day, recruiting would be our fanbase's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd biggest worries.

Memphis could challenge USF in the standings. We are heavy in the mix for former or current SEC commits with other targets likely to commit on their officials.

OK, I guess I agree with you there although I think there's a 90% chance USF finishes second. Taggart always has a flurry of high level recruits at the end. My main point was that SMU won't finish anywhere near second, because their class is basically full now, whereas USF will add around 10 more recruits. SMU is actually 6th going by average per recruit. A good class nonetheless.

Norvell is just like Taggart in that he is a top 25 recruiter as well and we have a flurry of recruits on visits this month that are high level. It will be close but it is better for the well being of the AAC to be competitive in recruiting.

I agree on you will SMU. They are up there with just shear numbers.

I believe we had 3 bad flips in the last month. 2 of which were our highest rated recruits. I believe we were 3rd as recently as a month ago.

Tubs is in big trouble next year. Probably his swan song next year.

No way to know what ECU is gonna do yet, but they sure need to close strong with a few JUCO OL and maybe DL depending on defensive scheme.

We need a lot of JUCO everything. Screw the old anthem, "don't microwave it". I don't care if we microwave every year and load up with transfers and Juco's. Just win.

I don't think we need JUCO everything. I see no need for a JUCO QB, RB, or WR with what we have short and long term at those positions. Not saying I wouldn't take one, but it would have to be a special talent. OL, DL, and maybe LB and DB I'd certainly look at some JUCO's.
