RE: AAC Football Recruiting Rankings per 247
4* DE Karamo Dioubate never made it to MSU or USCe
3* WR commit Dae'lun Darien didn't flip on his visit to Penn State as of now and was also offered by Syracuse
4* Darnell Salomon took USF commit off his twitter bio
3* OT Matthew Hennessy and 2* DB Kareem Gaulden have both passed on Rutgers
2* ATH commit Linwood Crump was offered by Rutgers and wasn't enthused enough to say he's definitely taking an OV there
2* DE target and Michigan commit Rashad Weaver didnt commit to USF on his OV as of now
3* WR target Freddie Pinder made it to campus
We're working to flip an OT and maybe a DB committed to Rutgers

I don't think we targeted enough OT, LB and DL, but we had a pretty good weekend for zero commits.

Bryce Huff 2* LB

Dustin Woodard unranked for now till 247 evaluates him.
http://247sports.com/player/dustin-woodard-62103

Coye Fairman 3* WR (question if he will qualify but Memphis might have worked a way for him to be on campus)

Memphis is number #3 now with 17 commits and could catch USF for 2nd place. I know the staff is working on flipping SMU QB commit David Moore.

Norvell definitely can recruit.

Per 247, he has an official visit on the 29th. Close to home, could see this guy flip.

Crump passed on Rutgers, which makes 6 of our commits to do so.

Yeah. I was expecting Keon Howard to flip to Southern Miss but their coach bailed yesterday. I know Minnesota is trying to flip him. I wonder would we take 2 QBs this class. David Moore does follow a lot of Memphis related things. He follows recruits/commits/players that are associated with Memphis. I think the flip is a real possibility.

Tulane picked up two 3-star WRs:
Miles Strickland - Madison, AL - had offers from Navy, Memphis, Air Force
Douglas Coleman - Zachary, LA - same school as dual-threat quarterback target Lindsey Scott, Jr

and unrated OT Phabion Woodard - Indianola, MS - previous UL-Lafayette commit recruited by some big names

What we really need at this point is for one of our QB targets to commit - Lindsey Scott and Tyrrell Pigrome are apparently both still looking at us pretty hard, but they've picked up more offers recently.

Rivals bumped 5 of our commits to 3* at once, which was a first.

Tulane is up to a respectable 6th in AAC recruiting rankings. Fritz is slightly outperforming Curtis Johnson on the recruiting front, and we're still in the early days of his tenure.

This conference is already tough. In two years it will be a nightmare. USF, UCF, Houston, SMU, Memphis, and temple are all recruiting well, with Tulane on the rise. Keep winning big games and maybe just maybe we can crater the big 12 once the texahoma 4 leave. ESPN will pay 8-10 million for that conference.
