Okay, it has been 25 plus years since I saw these guys in Athens Georgia. Spelling is actually Gaye Bykers on Acid. Two weeks later (seems like ) I saw Dred Zeppelin at Athens Theatre which blew me away.

There was another one on Park at Getwell back by the bowling alley, right next to the Embers Restaurant. Huge track that people would bring in their hand sized cars to race. I never had a car but went in just to watch many times.

I used to go with my little brothers to the one on Getwell. I was probably all of 13, but I can remember the feeling of having a crush on one of the teens in there with a Beatle haircut.

And I am sorry you mentioned the Embers. I am now hungry for one of their huge salads with the scrumptious dressings and a steak. I thought that was the coolest place!
