I think the prices vary from city to city based on supply and demand. When I lived in Memphis I never had problems getting tickets to a concert. Since we moved to Dallas, it's a pain in the @$$, a fight and sometimes impossible to get tickets to top acts. Paid $225 each to see The Who back in May, but it was worth it.

Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, U2, Springsteen, no way unless I went thru a broker.

Yeah, I just couldn't do it for The Who, with Entwhistle and Moon gone. But I'm sure it was a great show.

Not sure, but I think I like listening to that music now as much as then, especially with someone who likes it too.

They came back in 74, but maybe Queen was only with them for part of the 73 tour. There's a documentary about it and Queen was definitely the opener in New York. They broke up in 75 when Hunter left, but after Ralphs left in 73 it wasn't the same anyway.
