What say all of you guys.... how will the HOGS vs Auburn game end up?

My prediction - Auburn's going to be fired up; fresh off a big win against Tennessee and having had their butts handed to them by the Razorbacks the last 2 years. Tubby brings in his usual gang of suspects into RRS. Thankfully, Arkansas should be just as fired up. It's Homecoming week for UA, and the HOGS enjoy a surge of confidence as well after the comeback win over Alabama.

Both teams mirror each other in a lot of ways. Jones and Campbell are mobile QBs with quick speed and are definite playmakers. Both feature a strong running game. The war though will be on the trenches. Auburn's defensive 7 vs. the Arkansas OL and Big Shawn Andrews. Andrews and Co. let Fred Talley run loose on AUburn last year, and with Cedric Cobbs playing the way he has...the gameplan isn't going to change much.

I see this game similar to the Texas game. For Auburn to win, they'll have to throw the ball and at will. If the HOG secondary can shut Auburn's WR like they did Roy Williams, success is on the UA side. I see it tight through 3 quarters, a back and forth contest, and then the physical play of the HOGS will open it up in the 4th with 2 late scores and a victory.

2 years ago, 42-17, last year, 38-17... I'll stick with a trend here...

Good Pick, at least we are getting closer. I feel differently, of course, than you do on where they key to this game will rest. I think two things determine the winner. Turnovers and Our Offense against Your Defense. I think all games are won at the line of scrimmage but i believe for us to win, we have to get to the qb and force turnovers. Its evident that Cobbs doesnt fumble and has a hell of a lot more ability than Talley, who i saw running down donahue drive in auburn during the usc game still. I think its a close game with the 12th Pig in the stands helping late in the game.
