Sugar Bowl and Big 12 expansion rumors
Since Bowl season just ended, this is probably a bigger issue in my mind than it should be, but who should the SEC root for the Big 12 to expand with in regards to bowl matchups?
Not hating on UConn at all and I do hope they make a P5 conference, but a Sugar Bowl matchup of say Tennessee vs. UConn just doesn't do much to pique my interest. So should the SEC be rooting for Houston/BYU/Memphis, etc? Or does it matter?

Would you not buy a ticket because New Orleans kind of sucks to visit, if you've done it before, or because you don't want to watch the Vols play UConn?
I'm guessing it is more about the first one.

You shouldn't root for B12 expansion. If the Texas, OU and KU aren't truly committed to the B12's existence, then it should simply be parted out.

I would want them to add football brands like Cincy, BYU, Boise, maybe Houston.
I'm still curious how the P5 and G5 will vote on the deregulation vote. I wonder if they B1G amendment is a separate vote or one that must be accounted into the original submitted by the ACC and B12. If anyone knows the process and breakdown, that would be much appreciated.

Colorado state, Houston, New Mexico, and Tulane. That way when Oklahoma finally does leave. They will have a regional conference.

If OU did leave, that would assume the B12 could not secure a conference network. I'm not sure that selection of schools would bring provide enough quality content to warrant a network let alone broadcasting.
If I was the B12 and wanted to add 4, I would add content followed by fan base support, market size and new recruiting territory. I would go with Cincy and UConn as full members with BYU and Boise as football only members. That won't happen as the B12 didn't seem interested in partial members back when Notre Dame was shopping around. I just don't think Memphis is quite there yet to compete in P5 and Houston would hurt recruiting further to other B12 members.

Not to start a lot. But Albuquerque, Denver, Houston, and New Orleans are good markets. Not to mention reducing travel cost for most of the conference. When thinking about the Big 12. Subtract Oklahoma, and Texas. No way they are staying.
