INJURY REPORT: Candle said Toledo will seek another medical redshirt for cornerback Cameron Cole, a former starter who has not played since the 2014 season opener. ... Starters Paul Perschon (left guard) and Cody Thompson (wide receiver) both underwent successful shoulder surgeries after the Boca Raton Bowl. ... Linebacker Jaylen Coleman, who broke his leg in October, will be “very limited” in spring practice, Candle said. ... Cornerback Jordan Martin (torn ACL) can do some light work during spring practice, but likely not full contact, Candle said.

Be great to have Coleman and Martin ready for the fall.

Our D was much improved this season...but, they were not the same once Coleman went out of the line-up. It will be great to have him back...Woodley gained a lot of experience in Coleman's absence, so he should continue to improve heading into next year as well.

It didn't mention the status of LB Chris (Green) Norwood of Toledo Central. Did he injury the same leg? and the same kind of injury?

They are treating Chris Norwood very very carefully. His knee is is like a boxers "glass jaw"

Yes, same knee. He's really bummed about it but trying to stay positive. Doubt he sees much, if any, action in the Spring.

Sure hope he heals up well enough to play in 2016. It has got to be a bummer not knowing if the thing you love most is going to be in your future.
