RE: Why is UConn a Big 12 prime target?
well, UCONN is losing their AD to Michigan

Quote:Michigan: UConn athletic director Warde Manuel will be named athletic director at Michigan, according to the Detroit Free Press. Manuel is a former Michigan football player, has been at UConn since 2012 and previously served as the AD at Buffalo. The 47-year-old Manuel will take the place of interim AD Jim Hackett, who hired Jim Harbaugh last year.

UConn fans will see that as a B1G connection for their B1G hopes.
