Evidently reading comprehension isn't taught at Louisville because the citation is the link right above the quoted table.

And maybe if you had a few more 4 & 5 star talents on your roster you would be celebrating actual victories instead of bragging about moral victories because you only lost in the final seconds.

Sheldon Rankins 3*
James Burgess 3*
Lorenzo Mauldin 3*
DeVante Parker 3*
Calvin Pryor 3*

Just a sample (2011 & 2012 class) of 3* recruits for Louisville that were drafted recently or who are potential draft picks coming up. From Louisville Rivals site.

Interesting note, Gallman was a Rivals 3* recruit for Clemson. Why is he starting ahead of all of the 4 & 5 * guys Kap?

Let's look at the 2015 NFL draft. Clemson typically signs 3 x more 4 & 5 * recruits than Louisville & the Cards had more players drafted.

http://www.theacc.com/news/acc-has-47-pl...05-02-2015

First-year ACC member Louisville also had a strong presence at the draft, as the Cardinals had a school-record 10 players chosen in the draft, the second highest total of any school nationally only to Florida State. Louisville’s previous all-time high was five, set in 2008. The Cardinals have had 14 players taken in the past two NFL Drafts, their highest two-year total ever. Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker became the first Cardinal wide receiver selected in the first round, being taken 14th overall.

In all, 11 of the ACC’s 14 schools had at least one player drafted. In addition to Florida State (11) and Louisville (10), were Miami (7), Clemson (5), Boston College (3), Georgia Tech (3), Duke (2), Virginia (2), Virginia Tech (2), Pitt (1) and Wake Forest (1).

I'm willing to give our DL coach another year since this was his first. A second year and more experience should bear fruit.

I don't know that another year is going to make a difference as he is working with limited talent and barring a late commitment once again Fedora isn't addressing the defensive shortcomings either on the line or at LB in recruiting.

Yes they are. The DL and LB recruits currently committed are some of the best we've had in years.

If you guys didn't get rid of your line coach after you gave up 70 to WV then why should we? I know you got rid of Kevin Steele but that was year four.

Because we have one of the best DL coaches in the country in Dan Brooks. with a proven track record going back to the early 1980's. You have a guy that prior to this year only coached two years at Tennessee-Martin.

As for the best DL and LB recruits you have had in years.....are you serious? A couple of three stars are the best you have had in years? If so y'all are in worse shape than I thought.

Have a pretty good JUCO LB coming in. That is the route we should take, like with Sly Williams. Hard in the current environment to get kids in. We would have Jarran Reed from Bama and MArquis Haynes from Ole Miss if not for the more stringent admissions requirements in place now.

I overlooked the link, big deal. And no one is celebrating moral victories, just saying that if you guys had so much better talent, you should have won by far more, don't you think? There is no sense in arguing with an elitist know it all like yourself anyway. You make the worst of the FSU fans look good.

Clemson

No cuseroc I said FSU because they have a few who are the most anti everything on this site. Kap is really the only Clemson fan that acts like that on here.

Read today that Matt Canada is talking to Narduzzi. That would actually be a good fit for Pitt.

RE: NC State fires OC Matt Canada
It seems strange that Canada was fired from his job at NC State after being fairly successful there. He does seem to be a good fit for what Narduzzi wants to do.

Have there been any rumblings that NC State is going to run a dramatically different offense next year like the HUNH? That'd make sense, then.

Is leaking all over message boards and Twitter that it is a done deal. LOL even wiki lists him as Pitt's OC.

Funny that "Star" rating from Internet sites stir this kind of emotion from Kap-(ECU/Clemson) guy...

Clemson won the two games...not so much because of talent difference but more that Dabo/Venerables got the better of Petrino/Grantham...still cant get over blowing the game in 2014 on the Goalline...03-banghead

Rumors are he had a rift win Doeren. He interviewed for the ECU job and I guess NCSU didn't like that.

ACCSPORTS.com is reporting Canada is interviewing for the OC position at Pitt. Other sources reporting it is a done deal.
