Simple poll but it will make you think about a) how you think this team will perform, and b) will the NIU community respond to success

They were open for a few games the past couple of years, so of course they will. End of poll!

Spring homecoming they will. Last year's spring homecoming they were and we were like .500

High school games don't count, was talking about the NIU season

Jan 23rd is the spring homecoming game. Free tickets and food if you haven't already registered. We will have a good crowd for that game.

Atmosphere wise I would keep the upper bowl closed to force people to pack in the GA lower bowl seating rather than spread out in the upper bowl grand stands.

I disagree with this thinking. I think it's a negative defeatist approach. It says we don't expect many people here. Act like what you want to be not what you actually are. If you can dream it, it can happen. If you can't dream it, it will never happen!

I would like to see the sideline upper bowls opened up. The can leave the upper end zones of they care to. It looks weak to admit we won;t need the space, plus 90% of the people migrate down to the lower bowl anyway.

This team deserves some 3-4-5-6k crowds!

I agree. Upper sideline bowls opened up and the ends left closed. At least until they prove they need them.

They should open them to make sure they still work...
