Power 5 teams don't need us on their schedule to have a decent SOS.... including the crappy ones like Auburn. Yet I'm pretty sure there were some of us (maybe not on this forum, I can't recall) hyperventilating when it was announced that we were going to play 1 of our 2 games in Birmingham at the BJCC (of the 4 game series).

Had UAB beaten Auburn & Illinois, played Iowa St (W or L) instead of losing to VT, and had Stephen F Austin had the record they did the last two seasons our RPI would would easily be in bubble range.

As it stands, we have to win the conference tournament, which is a great backup plan and is definitely achievable.

At the end of the day, all that matters is that we're dancing in March.

So who won't be there tonight because of the opponent ??
