This is why I'm a fan of having more guns not less. That guy came in on full auto. 'Only' 2 people were killed and the shooter was shot by someone trained in the use of a gun. I feel much more secure walking down Ben Yahuda street where just about everyone has a gun of some sort from a Colt 1911 to an M4 carbine than I do Times Square.
As an added bonus, as more people own guns the mystique of using them like we see in the movies evaporates. I wager the most vocal gun control advocates are not gun owners
