Clemson didn't look too shabby either. Ought to be one heck of a national championship game.

Austin Grammer tweeted that he threw more touchdown passes against Bama than Connor Cook did.

Ouch.

RE: OT Bama
Alabama flat out shut them down no doubt but Michigan State was likely not as good as their record. They won 5 games this season by 4 points or less. Take away anyone of those wins and they would not be there. Cook seems to be high on the pro potential but their were better college QB's this year, that I saw, in CUSA alone.

Saw that. Being a Tuscaloosa native, I'm sure that TD pass is one he will remember for life. Just for fun: MT even had more yards against Alabama than michigan state not to mention points, and Stockstill completed more passes than cook. Saw a tweet that said "That awkward moment when mtsu gave bama a better game than Michigan state did."

Michigan State is very good, they had an off night, it doesn't help that their strengths play right into Bama's hands.

I don't know if Clemson can beat Bama, but mobile qbs have caused problems for Saban in the past, so Clemson matches up far better than Sparty did.

RE: OT Bama
Bama was a nightmare matchup for Michigan State. Ole Miss showed that you have to spread out Alabama's defense and beat them with pass and getting guys in space. Trying to run to the gut against Alabama is useless because their three deep are all 4 or 5 star lineman and your offensive line isn't.

I was really rooting for Mich St, Bama was just just so strong. Connor Cook's sister use to play for the Lady Monarchs and the family came to about every home game and we would talked in the Big Blue. Great bunch to talk sports to, everyone in the family played D1 sports. In truth Mich St got very lucky in two games this season.

I have to read about the Crimson Menace every-damn-where else I go on the internet. I come here to talk about UAB and its conference peers, not those slackjaws.

ODU turned down Alabama and 1.3 million.

With Shuler Bentley behind center, It would have been worse than ugly.

It's a drivable game for WKU fans or I'd say no also, only a few hour drive

The banghead emote sort of gave that away, but I'd seen your OOC in that other thread about access bowl.
