Sacramento State, UTSA, UNR, New Orleans if and when they start football, Wichita State could be restarting football and some others missing from your list.

Gotta be a hybrid...throw in Wichita St. and Richmond as BB onlies... ;-)

Actually the league stature wise would be a P5 stature league or P6 in this case.

Or the Metro. If their football plan had seen the light of day...

Metro would've had Miami and S Carolina as well, IIRC.

RE: The City Conference
Add Miami in the East and add Wichita St in the West (need to upgrade FB)

Of course Notre Dame will come along with some sort of part time deal as they normally receive

RE: The City Conference
Fresno, Boise, and UTEP do not belong in a "city" conference. Unless you're also including Texas and Ohio State in the conference.

Georgia Tech, Washington, and Oregon State could be added instead.

Metro!

Although we had several teams that were decidedly not in large cities. Like half of them.

Although this thread is for kicks and giggles, you can already look at CUSA and the AAC if you want to see city conferences...

RE: The City Conference
The Metro name is available, as in legally available

Would have been fun to combine the urban/suburban schools from the old Big East and CUSA 1.0. Let BC,UConn, WVU & Va Tech go to ACC. Would have been a fun league.

UAB
Charlotte
Cincinnati
Houston
Louisville
Memphis
Miami
Pittsburgh
USF
Syracuse (or Tulsa)
Temple
TCU

Would have been a lot of fun in hoops and football. What a pity it'll never happen.
