And 3-0 against contract conferences (Louisville, Vandy, FSU), including a 34-0 shutout of a Vandy team some teams had trouble with.

Let the excuses commence.

No excuses from where I stand. Great team, great coach and great season. The Coogs earned respect with the results on the field. Great stat on the record against the Seminoles.

Maybe after someone steals their coach away from them...maybe. No one in the big 12 is going to invite Houston to the big 12 while they are on a hot streak.

Florida State Criminoles looked like a bunch of women was playing for them.

ESPN showed recruitment for the Texas schools, and this is how they fall for next year.

1.Baylor
2.TCU
3.Texas A&M
4.Houston (got a 5 star player.)
5.Texas

Texas is becoming irrelevant in Texas. The players do not want to go to Texas now. I bet Texas Tech is closing in to push them to 6th.

Certainly Houston would have had more motivation, but I still would have expected the game to be closer.

I can't think of anything that would cause greater division in the Big 12 than the taking of a 5th Texas school. What I do believe is that the PAC could cover the state very well with Texas Tech, T.C.U. and Houston.

What everybody seems to forget, UConn's defense is quite impressive, I was actually a lot more concern vs UConn that I was for FSU.

Half the team was injured, including Ward, and sports/upsets happen. How did Florida State lose to Georgia Tech? They seemed to turn out alright.

Here is the irony, many of these AAC posters have said those six bowls losses were the victors "Super Bowl" game. Well congrats UH on winning your "Super Bowl" against 3rd best team from the worse P5 confetence.

Like the excuses UH posters made after the UCONN loss or the six AAC bowl losses?
