X is really good but haven't beaten any great teams yet. Up until we quit playing we were their best win and that win doesn't look all that good now

Agree, and how sad is it that we take so much pleasure in them losing. I would argue if they go in the tank it only hurts our RPI more.

They weren't gonna go undefeated. At Nova is a tough place to play. If my passing recollection is accurate, I think they always struggle against Nova. I still believe they are a Top 10 team.

The Bearcats' RPI woes are entirely their own doing. I don't mind if X loses the next half dozen games frankly. UC just needs to start winning again and begin climbing the ladder back into tournament contention. Missing the tournament for this UC team would not be acceptable performance from anyone's perspective.

When it's all said and done, November/December headliners often limp into March Madness and exit soon thereafter. It's too soon for X to be ordering a Final Four banner and too soon to write off a talented UC team. Let's see where we are a month from today.

He's from the Philly area, his wife is a Nova alum, he makes more money than Cronin, and Villanova is arguably a better program in an indisputably better conference. Ain't happening.

His name was mentioned prominently when Cronin was hired and I don't think he wanted to leave Philly. Villanova has been a consistent regular season powerhouse but his teams have done little in March.

i just wish UC players had the talent and heart that XAVIER'S players have. It's painful watching Our team play when we watch how Mack gets the most out of his squad.
