Waaaay too early 2016 expectations thread
For poops and grins, assuming Lynch declares (as he should) how many wins do you think would make 2016 a success?

My answer: 7

SEMO (FCS team) - W
Kansas - W
BGSU - W
@ Mississippi - L
Tulsa - W
@ Tulane - W
South Florida - L
@ SMU - W
Houston - L
@ Navy - L
Temple - W
@ Cincy - L

7-5 (4-4)

I'd be happy with 6-6, and making a bowl.

I think we beat Navy this coming year. However, we could just as easily drop one of the games you have marked as a win. So I think anywhere from 6 all the way up to 8 is possible.

I guess will stick with the trend and split the difference at 7...

It's way to early to predict wins for next year. We have to wait and see what new recruits our new coach brings in.

This sounds right. It will take the new guy awhile to build up and losing Lynch is huge.

I would say we'll be in the 7 win stage, +/- 1 either way.

I think we saw in the second half of the season that when Lynch was off or the other team took him out of the game that the rest of the team was plainly average.

If a QB emerges and assuming the returnees are better after an off-season on weights, should be able to go bowling for a third straight year.

With new coaching staff and new QB and new faces on offensive line I'm saying 6 and 6 but hope we win our division. I look forward to watching ASU play in their bowl to see how we will be playing next year. Defense will be a lot different which may help.

7-5 and bowl. Exciting football still. Coach will show glimpses of good things to come once he gets a couple of seasons under his belt.

6 wins for a new coach would be fine - just avoiding a losing season will help maintain momentum for the FB program.

Just get to a bowl. Being able to do that after losing a first round QB and head coach would show that perhaps we've finally established a program with a floor that isn't disastrous.

Um pretty much every team whose quarterback is off is average

I am saying 8. We have three really good running backs on the team with an above average young offensive line. That should take pressure off Davis or whoever the qb is
