Well...while SMU was pretty bad...he did have seven first ha,f touchdown passes in that game. But yes, gradual slide in the last third of the year outside that game.

I heard Steve Young say the other day... in college, everybody's open and in the pro's, no one is. This was a pretty good audition.

It was a good audition against superior defensive talent. However, Ole Miss also had superior talent and he looked like Aaron Rodgers that day. Agreeing with others, Lynch has looked lost ever since Fuente mentally checked out as HC.

Auburn looked better than Ole Miss. I didn't see our receivers get separation on their corners all day long.

I think this shows just how good Fuente and Cornelson are as coaches. He looked lost without them and his mechanics were bad. He looked like he did as a freshman.

Wasn't Cornelson calling plays today at the game. He doesn't leave for VTech till now.

It is my understanding Cornleson was coaching at B'ham.

This didn't cost him anything. Body of work, combine, pro day, and NFL interviews will decide.

This game sucked doe.

Based on what I saw today he probably should have.

There was something going on - worst QB performance since that 5th year Senior Miami QB tanked it against against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl about 10-12 years ago ...

Even if that's true he'll make millions versus the millions he would have made. Let him complain 03-wink

RE: Mr. Lynch Cost Himself Some Money Today
Lynch didn't cost himself a dime today.

If he shows up at the combines and only measures out at 6'1" and displays a weak arm and interviews poorly, then he'll lose money.

Everything that has happened over the past few weeks will be easily explained away by front office officials that will be drooling over Lynch's numbers.

Whether or not today's game was lack of focus/prep on his part or not, the coaching situation will gloss it over when they see him in person and notes like 6'7", 235 and mobile are staring them in the face.

Anyone that thinks otherwise is deluding themselves.

I knew we were in trouble after the first two series. One running play, and that was for field position on a third down. I looked at my better half and said, "Someone decided that today was going to be a Paxton showcase instead of trying to win the effing game.

His mobility has been exposed against fast defenses.. Auburns defense is horrible and he couldn't get outside or up the field at all against them.. He looked slow against Auburn, Navy and Temple.. NFL players are much much more talented than what he has faced.. But I disagree this game probably made some scouts rethink.. JMO

This was an exhibition game. NFL scouts have a lot of film on him. The combines will determine where he goes.
