"Teams" being the Super Bowl champs with a HOF QB as GM.

Not bad for "Hot Garbage" who can't throw deep, has weak arm and can't put touch on the pass.

The maximum Paxton Lynch will get in his 4-year rookie deal is $9,476,313, which includes a signing bonus of no more than $5,091,864.

Its going to be really hard for Paxton to live on that 10 million dollars the next 4 years, but it will be worth the sacrifice.

Actually we don't know that at all and this is all pure speculation from a dozen different possible angles.

Few would argue things worked out better for Lynch landing were he did when he did.

I guess it depends on how careers play out. Goff and/or Wentz could be out of the league in 5 years. We'll see if Paxton can use what seems to be a good situation in Denver to get a big 2nd contract.

True...which is why if a young QB could land in a great Super Bowl winning organization that loves a strong run game like Denver...he certainly maybe one day cash in on a HUGE 2nd contract in 4 years...but that is obviously not guaranteed.

One reason why Goff and Wentz might also have a shot to succeed...is that pretty good teams traded up to the #1 and #2 spots....unlike when the terrible Browns drafted Manziel or the Jags drafted Bortles at #3....both of those teams were pretty darn bad on both sides of the ball (Jags though maybe have finally turned the corner...maybe be a .500 team this year).

PL was not going to be a top 5 pick regardless of his performance against AU. He is not ready to step in and start as a rookie in the NFL. That summarizes the opinions I heard on ATL sports radio over the past could of weeks from former NFL GM's, coach's and scouts.

Exactly. Pax didn't help himself at the Combine. Then the dialog started about how he never plays under center. THAT is why he fell "all the way" to 26. That, plus no other teams needed a 1st round QB. He wasn't going top 5. He was the third QB picked. One game performance did not affect this at all.

1st round QB ain't bad at all. He wasn't anywhere close to that before last season started. So rather than say his bowl game play hurt him, how about the fact that his play all year helped him.
