The RPI is worthless and should never even be referenced anymore, by anyone. Those new calculations have made it totally irrelevant. You find 6-6 low mid majors in the top 50-75 while 2-4 loss power conference teams can't break the top 100. Just go look at the loonacy! Kenpom has Cincy at 35. That's an accurate assessment.

At the end of Micks radio show two weeks ago he said and I quote " the only two things I care about are the RPI and making the tourney at the end of the year, that's how you keep your job." You might want to let him know the RPI is worthless, never heard a college coach yet reference Kenpom when talking to the media.

I just let Cronin know. He agreed and said he would only reference Kenpom in the future.
