I'm seeing this all over twitter. Apparently there are some "issues" going on at Northern and Rod is at the head of them. Not sure at the specifics, but I believe it. It was first reported on the board about some kind of issue that resulted in the obliteration in our bowl game, and now there are reports on Twitter indicating the same thing.

Considering we only have about 10 commits at this point, and most of them are unranked/have no other offers, I think it has.

There are no issues at NIU. Everything is perfect and everyone has smiles on their faces and are surrounded by rainbows. Our coaching staff is the best. We won 8 games this year and were in the MACC and a great bowl game. All is rosy!

We will probably hear a lot very quickly, since these types of tweets stir up a lot of interest from a lot of people.

None of this is true because it's not on 7's blog! If you follow him on twitter, believe him but don't believe anyone else on twitter.
All of these people are simply ignorant and idiots. Everything is rosy, pay no attention to the pair of three-game losing streaks, pay no attention to the play-calling that makes no sense or has to be tailored to the limitations of each QB; pay no attention to the pattern of bowl game poundings.

Issues? I think the tweets were BS and he has no source. Do you know why coaches are leaving? Rod did not get the Jerry Kill, Dave Dorene call up for the big pay day. They have labored here 2,3 years and are looking out for their families and their future. He is like Joe Peshi in Goodfellas, everyone was expecting a call up to be a made man and when it didn't happy Jimmy Conway and the gang knew it was over.

Watson to Toledo is not a good sign, Nieman to Rutgers means nothing. There is only 1- coach in the last 5 at Toledo that did not move on better $$$ job. That includes -2- SEC coach of the year winners in Saban & Prinkel.
