Dude, lay off the crack. Chip Kelly is not coming to Cincinnati. He can have any college job he wants.

I am not a rich person. But I would donate at least 10% of my salary to get Chip Kelly. Just think, I bet Louisville never thought they could get Pitino 15 years ago, or Memphis could get Calipari.

Louisville basketball and Cincinnati football are nowhere near comparable. As for Calipari, he had his previous success at an A-10 school where he had his best tournament run wiped out by violations.

Sure, I guess Bohn could and maybe should pick up the phone and talk to Chip's agent. But the top schools are paying their coaches $5 million plus per year, and Chip will get an offer for at least that much from a P5 school. The only way to get him talking to us is to make him an offer that would make him the highest paid coach in college football -- which would be about $5 million more annually than we pay Tubs. Even then, a P5 program will come in over the top and offer him even more because he is going to be that in demand.

And when I say Bohn should pick up the phone, that's only if Ono and the board agree to let him offer Chip Kelly $8 million + per season. Ain't happening, probably not even if we were in the ACC or Big 12.
