Don't get it, will never get it, and don't want to get it. That makes me "intolerant" in many eyes. Just because I choose not to expose my family to what I consider to be perversions, does not make me intolerant. I'll tolerate such behavior, but I will not support it, try to understand it, nor try to frame it as "acceptable behavior" for my spawn. One's right to live their life in ways I disagree does not supercede my right to refuse to be complicit in such behavior.

Is this a misunderstanding and taken out of context? A few posts from a Facebook group took a positive twist thinking maybe the company meant to express that it takes an artist with a creative and problem solving mind to strive for such a career. Surveying a wide range of people of various ages and careers, one commented that the wording is a generational gap, saying it was an expression used over 20 years ago. In another post, it's suggested that maybe since it is a shirt for children, the saying is a reflection of their ever changing minds. Or is Old Navy suggesting that being an artist is as a career not a worthwhile achievement? Perhaps this piece of apparel could have read "Young Aspiring_________" (Fill in the blank with one's career goal.)

Disgusting. The creepiest part of it was using some middle aged weirdo to portray a teen girl while the funniest part about it is that real trannies are up in arms that Old Navy didn't use a real tranny. Not that I shop there with any regularity but they'll never see another dollar from me.
