I hope he works out like the last 2 at Tech. A Qb and UNT won't be a push over this year.

Considering that is probably the one position Alabama-Tuscaloosa doesn't constantly feed to the NFL is that a good get? Not trying to 05-stirthepot but makes you wonder.

I hear ya, but the fact that ANY QB so originally highly rated is willing to take a chance on the worst FBS team for his last year of eligibility is exciting.

We don't need future NFL players right now; we need players who can just play.

it appears Littrell is looking for bodies to see who can run his offense the best.....why not go after a guy like this....totally different schema than bammers....who knows what this kid could do in this offense.....I only see this as a good move....

Regardless of how this pans out, it's good to see Littrell out there making some noise. This would never have happened under the previous regime. Also, I think it's nice to have a QB transfer from a top national power who had 3-4 years of experience being around some of the best players in the country. Can't hurt.

Monken has taken this route and it has helped our comeback. USM got a 4 star transfer qb from TCU, but he couldn't beat out Mullens.

Anything that improves a CUSA team improves CUSA, and an improved CUSA is good for all of us.

Rice had an Alabama QB transfer a few years back, and he did not turn out as we hoped. Good luck with yours.

Agreed. And if nothing else maybe this can help land a few more top recruits come signing day by showing that you are getting some now. Best of luck Mean Green

This is a great get for UNT. Morris almost beat out Coker for Bama's starting QB. Also heard Morris was a favorite of Saban.

I want North Texas to be good again. The first year in CUSA you guys won a bowl game and beat the team you replaced in SMU. The rise of Texas schools is coming. I expect all four Texas schools to be in the running for a west title very soon.

I think Morris is a nice pick up for us. Even though he wasn't seeing the field at Bama, I believe he gives us a chance at putting a better product on the field then we did last season.

Totally agree.

McCarney was never able to recruit. North Texas won the 2014 HOD with players that Dodge recruited. I think Littrell is proving he is a superior recruiter. If he can get North Texas producing the same kind of offensive numbers he has at his other stops, we should be getting off the mat fairly quickly. That would be good for C-USA. We need to fill our bowl slots.

Thanks. We get him for next season. He just graduated and will be a 5th year senor. He can play right away since he graduated.

Word is, North Texas is in the running to land Ole Miss back-up QB DeVante Kincade. He is a Sophomore and would have to sit out a year.

Littrell also has another QB he is looking at.

Gee, you would have thought North Texas had a problem at the QB position the last couple of years.07-coffee3
