18-5 Texas St leading. We are in for a long year. Goal for us is to make tourney and odds are probably against it

At 13 minutes left Kaspar already had his jacket off. Look out GS.

You aren't t going to win in D1 with pretty much freshmen/redshirt freshmen playing unless you are Kentucky

We understand. Kaspar had to rebuild TXST when he got here. Half of our team are transfers, mostly JUCOS. Only 4 freshman on the team, though, and 1 soph. All of the Seniors (3) were brought in by way of transfer and 4/7 of the Jrs.

Give it time. I mean, we've improved but we're not there yet.

RE: Week 1 of Sun Belt conference basketball
After all the seniors we lost after last year we should have recruited some JUCOs but we went for freshmen. We are just ridiculously young this year

Friday February 19th. Arkansas State at UAB.
Officially that is 50 Days 19 Hours 11 minutes and 30 seconds from now.

Not that I am counting or anything.

Our first game is 2/19 @ 6PM vs Washington State. I assume that's central time.

40-29 at the half
Boys got sloppy there. Kaspar was on their case a bit.

Troy is beating our intramural team by 9. We lost another player today, so we're down to 8 available players now.

I really think we are looking at somewhere around a 4-16 or 5-15 type conference record this year. Watching the game you can see Texas St is well coached and knows what they are doing. We look like a high school team

UTA is explaining nicely to Georgia State who the best team in the league is right now.

Little Rock up double digits on South Alabama

It is staggering what he's done to your program. I remember his recruiting class the year we left was like 7 jucos. He made Maestri blush with that one. And he's seemed to bring in some less than stellar citizens while he was at it.

No school deserves Dick Nutt and John Brady back to back. Good luck to the Red Woofs in whoever they hire. You've done such a great job with football coaches there is absolutely no reason you can't bring in a good guy for hoops. You have a decent arena. You used to have good fan support. That can come back with wins.

We're at 13 years now since fans first started dropping their basketball ticket packages in protest of Dickey's extension. I have confidence Mohajir will make a good hire, but this is going to be a 4-5 year rebuild at best probably for whoever the new guy is.

Something strange has happened. Our Intramural team has embarked on a 10 point run and has cut the Troy lead to 1 with 5 minutes left.

Trojan fans have to be embarrassed right now.

Texas St leading 51-34. Played in championship game last year and probably 10th or 11th team in conference now. Ugh
