I do. When you start on your own three a FG is a win. By using all the time you don't give UConn the ball again. Then you receive the second half kickoff.

Regardless, we've now got to take care of business here and punch in a TD. We will not win a FG battle.

I agree and wish the Herd would take a more shots in the endzone

Looks like Marshall borrowed MTSU's offensive coordinator with these last two play calls.

Missed opportunity with a failed 4th and 2 near the red zone.

Still 13-7 just over 8 min to go in the 3rd.

Got to stop their run game. UCONN with only 111 total yards to this point.

So far a lot of bad play calling on Doc/Legg's part, poor clock management of final drive of first half. Sweep play on 4th and 2 also a bad call. 03-banghead

If they had run Litton left after faking a handoff he possibly gets a TD on that 4th down play.

Bad call there. Both coaches are calling the game to not lose. First team that shows it has an offense in second half will win. Only good thing about this game is the running clock means it's almost over. Boring game.

When we get the ball, I hope we bring out a little more quick strike O...these long dragged out series are only serving to keep UCONN in this game.

And leave Litton in the game.

This game is a good indicator of what Marshall fans can expect for 2016 since we have a lot of returning starters. So far I think horrible play calling is making it tough to tell if 2016 is going to be a good year.

Hope not, no Reaves and Johnson. We'll need to put even more strain on our D.

Can only hope our fleet of young RB's make a jump. As well as the many, many young WRs.

I don't get it? I've seen good play calling by doc for years.....but today has been horrible so far, maybe he will let these kids play and have some fun instead of trying to protect them and act like they are not good enough to just play

MU's game plan has been perfect IMO.....don't get the birdsong thingy other than it's a bowl game, but Marshall has moved it like they should against the D that is being offered.....Litton isn't the second coming....marshall's D is their strength....

but yeah, I get what you're saying....

as I type a pick by MU

GO HERD!
