There is a tug of was right now between Tampa and StPete but nothing firm. A lot depends on finances, the Rays seem intent on getting the public to build a stadium for them so far that's not getting traction

Disagree completely. Downtown StPete is booming right now. Is right next to I275 so easy access. To me it's a good location. The problem with Tampa-St Pete is the same problem all Florida has, poor public transportation in a sprawl setting.

Agreed...the location is okay...just need a redo of the stadium. Build a exoskeleton over the Trop and reconfigure it. Th capacity is about right. It needs serve a need as baseball field/35k FB facility/special events arena
