I think people are just pointing how they think the BBall team can improve, which I'm sure the coaching staff is doing constantly regardless of their record. And most on here are mature enough to discuss their thoughts on how the team can improve without name calling when they disagree with a poster.

Exactly.

I didn't see complaining in this thread. There was a spirited discussion about whether a particular player should get more PT. Just like you would hear from other blogs, talk radio, newspapers and among other NIU BB fans.

I enjoyed watching the game last night. Still watching and learning about the newcomers, but this team has a huge upside, IMO. Yeah, it was a sloppy game, but that was a game that last year's team probably would have lost.

VERY excited to watch this team as they start MAC play. I'll predict the Huskies go 12-6 in the MAC, followed by a strong showing in Cleveland.

You obviously haven't raised children. The reality is that the Huskies are # 136 out of 351 NCAA teams in points per game at 75.6. And they are 28-4 when scoring over 70 under Monty because their defense is # 26 nationally allowing 62.8 PPG. Their scoring margin of almost +14 per game is #39 in NCAA of 351 schools.

They haven't played anyone yet. Every team on their OOC schedule other than OSU and Missouri would struggle to win games in the MAC. Stats are pretty meaningless at this point.

I guess talking about the BB team in anything but glowing terms = complaining. Gotcha. FWIW I've seen the improvement from a few years when the team was just horrific and I'm optimistic they will continue to improve - as long as we're able to keep the younger players aboard. They now look like a Division I team at least.
