Watching the Miami/WSU game, I get reminded every time I see a targeting foul called (& enforced with ejection) of our Memphis game. I guess it's a penalty unless the victim leaves the field on a stretcher. We got hosed there.

It's going to be really difficult to beat VaTech being that they have never had a losing season under Beamer and they are 6-6.

Duke Indiana game reminds me when we played Duke a few years back in the Belk Bowl. Back and forth barn burner. Our last Bowl win...

Yeah, from the camera angle underneath the goal post it looked more good than not. The kicker for Indiana was the most convinced it was good and the refs shooed him away - sorry son, the game is over.

I looked back to UC bowl game history and Tubs has the distinction as the only UC coach outside of Rick Minter to lose three bowl games in a row. Minter lost the 2000 and 2001 Motor City Bowls and the 2002 New Orleans Bowl. Scary thing is Coach has a shot to lose 4 in a row. Just another reason to extend him...
