This TIGER fan agrees that Tubbs has pretty much lost his fire/mojo/aggressiveness. The Bearcats are better than what was shown this season. The season was a rollercoaster with some tough losses (BYU, MEMPHIS, Houston).....but getting your @sses SMOKED in a bowl game by the Aztecs after nearly 4 weeks to rest, heal up, and prepare is disheartening from the conference strength perspective.

I can only imagine how the UC fans feel.

Tuberville has already retired; now he needs to voluntarily acknowledge what is plain to see OR be shown the door.

Not good at all. Very disappointed in this season.

The UC players are better than this. They need some coaches that can get the best out of them.

Generally speaking, I believe that college coaching is a "young man's game" (ie, 30s to mid 50s). If you need Viagra for sex you probably don't have the "fire" needed to keep up with the job.

I readily admit a lack of total objectivity but just how much have Tulane and Tulsa brought to your conference? Plus, you now have Navy in your West division. WTF? Seems to me the nBE/AAC could have made itself much better by dispensing with the two T's, adding Navy to the East and added BYU, SDSU, Boise and UNLV or Fresno to the West and now have a much better conference than you have. (Please don't tell me AFA or CSU. Those two are tied at the hip with Wyoming and New Mexico with whom they've been partnered for decades.)

Yeah, I'm unhappy having SDSU in the MWC for a number of reasons. However, because of the moves the AAC has made, we're probably stuck there for the foreseeable future. Just like you're probably stuck with the two T's?

Tulsa has been solid in basketball and football for a long time so I don't know how you compare them to tulane that's not right, no offense to tulane, but Tulsa has been solid.

That would be the "solid" Tulsa hoops team which I watched lose to UCLA at SDSU's Viejas Arena in the first round of the 2014 NCAA tournament by 17. That would be the same UCLA that I watched my school beat by 9 the year before on a neutral court at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

My friends and I were literally seated across the aisle from the various bands for the two days at Viejas and Tulsa's was just embarrassing. Granted, no one expected them to rival UCLA's band but their numbers, enthusiasm, attire, competency and the like paled in comparison to that of such other G5 schools as VCU and Gonzaga.

I'll admit that nobody outside San Diego county much cares about the Aztecs. However, there are 3 million residents of the county and SDSU consistently out-rates Pac-12 games in head-to-head broadcasts. I highly doubt anyone outside Tulsa county cares about the Golden Hurricane and Tulsa county has 1/5 the population of SD county. So just how does Tulsa do on TV when in competition with Big 12 games?

Just wait until WMU pays PJ Fleck, it'll make all these albatross contracts look like bargains

Yeah, just like Tulsa smacked us this year, huh?

F-you, panic.

We were 2-10 last year. I don't think anyone expected Tulsa to beat UC @ Nippert.

However Tulsa 2016 is a program on the upswing with a great coach an explosive offense and a Sr. QB.

UC 2016 is in the middle of a hilarious downward spiral with a washed up coach whose players have quit on him.

Don't say hurty words. Its Christmas friend.

Our records were identical this year minus the game we played. You are the biggest clown on this board.

SDSU's Rocky Long is making only a little over 1/3 what UC is wasting on . . . er, paying . . . Tuberville.

Than again, UC's AD is SDSU's former AD. That guy Bohned SDSU before leaving and now he's doing the same to Cincinnati.

You're talking to a BC fan masquerading on these boards as a UCONN fan. Conversing with that clown kills brain cells. It's a scientific fact, or something.

Aztec fan here, just checking in to congratulate the AAC on the great season your conference had this year. As for the Hawai'i bowl, I don't think any of us expected a game like that. Just sort of how things went for us all year after that debacle of our OOC.

Tubberville has to go. No way Cincy should have gone 7-6 this year. It is disgraceful to not get your team up for a bowl game. Tubberville is a disgrace. I expected San Diego State to win. MWC champs... but no way the Bearcats should have been blown out.

The talent they have on that team should've gotten them over 7 definitely

Another Aztec fan here -- just wanted to say that I have tons of respect for Bearcat football and was very surprised that we won by such a large margin. I hope that you guys get any issues squared away and have a great season next year -- you and Navy are my favorite teams in the AAC, and it would be great if we had a home and home in the future. BTW, your school colors are awesome. 04-wine
