I like SDSU's football program.
How they beat UC was impressive.

But let's also be candid for a moment: UC in Bowl games (under the current "coaching" staff) is HORRENDOUS. Someone put up the stat, and I think it's accurate, that in the past three bowl games UC has been out scored 114-41.

If UC was playing Eastern Michigan in a bowl, I'd pick EMU.

Congrats to the Aztec's. But let's also admit they were playing a brain-dead corpse of a team as well.

About 10 of those games were close games that could have gone to MWC teams instead. Utah could have easily fell to Utah State. Colorado State could have been Minnesota and Colorado.

San Diego State got hot at the end of the season. So did New Mexico who almost beat Arizona in the New Mexico Bowl.
