Stated perfectly. I'm pretty shocked that the op thought , "yeah this is a good idea."

I just thought it interesting,some others probably did as well. It all came about because some posters wanted to downplay our win over a VERY GOOD USF team, and say how we couldn't hang with other G5 (yes aac you're still G5) conference champs. Nothing creepy or needy about it, just interesting!

It's meaningless. However, on a neutral field, I'd give WKU a solid shot because UH actually struggled any time they played anyone with a pulse except Navy, which had its triple option shut down and didn't have the athletes to compete with UH aside from Keenan Reynolds. Temple competed well but also wasn't much of a match. UConn would be a poor example because half of UH's team was injured, including Ward and they had an extra week to prepare.

Would have been a fun game this year either way. WKU also did well against the thriple option teams , beating navy twice and army over the past few years.
