Great game. Sparty is now leading but is in big foul trouble.

Of the 4 teams that have beaten us this season, I can guarantee 3 will be in the tournament.

Also, Felder has gotten so much better each year under Kampe. One thing about Murphy, players don't seem to improve much under his tutelage. That is going to have to change.

It is a simple observation. Look at how great Keith Benson and Corey Petros and Travis Bader and K Felder got during their time at Oakland. Let's hope Murphy has a great season with his guys this year.

I would agree with the players you mentioned, except Petros. He was average in my opinion.

Petros scored 1,636 points in his career. His rebounding was always solid but his scoring averages were; 8.7, 12.5, 13.3, and 14.3 per game. Dude got better every season and averaged darn near a double double. Definitely not "average" production.

I respect the hell out of Oakland and Greg Kampe. Even consider myself a fan. But we've done well against them. This is easily the best team they've ever had, even better than the Benson squad. Horizon has a small chance to be a 2-bid league this year between them and Valpo.

The Horizon League is a few very good teams and a bunch of weak sisters.

Valpo and OU will cut through the Horizon like a hot knife through butter.

I have been on the Valpo + OU --> NCAAs for some time now. At least a month.
