CMU sells out its bowl ticket allotment
??

I'm pretty sure they mean that the university has 300 in their traveling party, not that there will only be 300 fans buying tickets. 300-400 would seem to be about standard for a MAC school to a bowl.

How would anyone know how many NIU fans have bought tickets from whatever sources they bought them from?

We usually use the count of tickets purchased through the school.

In this thread, we are discussing tickets bought through CMU only, and not those bought on StubHub, groups, or even the Lions ticket package (which puts a ticket holder in the Minnesota section. Wonder if it counts as a discounted sale of a B1G ticket?).

Part in parcel of having the bowl game on Dec. 23. That's just the thing about these bowl games before Christmas. If it's not close then not many people are going to show up. Much easier to make arrangements and get $$ for a trip after Christmas.

I believe the MAC was expected to go 1-6. The conference has already beat expectations. Good luck to CMU. Your game is very winnable.
