Doesn't matter. The conference isn't going to happen and if it did OSU would not be interested. Hell, in over 100 years of basketball they have only played UC during the regular season twice-- once was the year after a self-imposed death penalty were we had a new coach and one scholarship athlete on the team and the other was back in the peach basket era.

For a while, the Cincinnati Enquirer would post the basketball 'standings' for the fictional Miami Valley League, consisting of Miami, UC, Xavier, Dayton, and Wright State. The schools would play each other enough that it was like an informal conference, but Miami has gone downhill so much the past ten years that it's easier to just keep track of UC vs. XU vs. UD on their own.

Something like this could work if football was separate.
Makes sense for the G5 you can have some strong football conferences.

AAC is more attractive for Cincinnati than what you see here. Ohio State's inclusion would be a game-changer though...
