I visited your stadium a few years ago when Marshall came up to play and was impressed with the facilities. Hopefully this is a catalyst to getting more people in the area to come out and support the team.

It was last year, and just a horrible day for an Akron fan. But this program is making strides. Hopefully, we can make it a better game next year in Huntington.

Its going to take more than a Potato Bowl win for locals to buy in. But, the jokes about playing in a bowl named after a potato have turned into a lot of talk about a "big" bowl win from the general football fans here. That's progress.

And yes, the bowl win was "big" considering Akron had never won a bowl game before, and only had been to one other all-time.
