RE: The Detroit game day
Lets face it the MAC as a whole has been on a down hill slide since 2002. During the 1990s we fought very hard to an at large bid for the MAC because really and truely deserved it. Now its hard to even justify the automatic bid we get, even in the NIT the MAC hardly makes any noise. We did have a MAC make the sweet 16 one year not long ago. But name any current nba player or players?

I am not a blind follower. I want my team to play good and win games against good teams. 07-coffee3 i am not a bandwagon fan only cheering or following when they win. But having been to and watching well over 500 home games i can tell good play from bad.i can see it in their eyes, how they move their feet, how they come on to the court.

All of your comments and posts point exactly to that. I think it just baffles most of us for someone like you or Bob to constantly speak so negatively, sarcastically, and genuinely sour about EMU football and basketball yet then say you like and enjoy watching and attending games. If that truly is the case then, it is what it is. However some optimism is necessary for fandom. I think that most of us on here find ourself somewhere in the middle of extreme negativity and blind fandom.

Can we all aim to not hijack threads?

I'm looking forward to the game. We'll be celebrating my son's 7th and wife's 25th and holding birthday at the game.
I believe EMU will show up in a BIG way for this game.

Nope most on here love the glitter and flash and ignore the substance and the heart. And like i said i always have hope it isn't me that loses it. 2 years ago we had 20 wins but only one of those was against a team with a winning record. Substance. 07-coffee3
