12/22 Basketball games
Some of the results seem off and maybe not updated by Yahoo. Go Bearcats as I have a bet with my Iowa State cousin.

USF -16 (3-9) - Seton Hall (9-2)

Bethune-Cookman (4-7) at UCF (5-4)

#11 Iowa State (9-2) at #22 Cincinnati (10-2) UC -4.5

SCSU (5-7) at ECU (7-5)

Southern Miss (2-7) at Tulane (6-6) Tulane -10

IUPUI (4-9) at Memphis (7-3) Memphis -14.5

Northern Arizona (2-8) at Tulsa (7-4) Tulsa -19.5

Houston (8-2) at Wyoming (7-5)

Kent State (7-2) vs #18 SMU (9-0) in Vegas SMU -11.5

Hard to believe we are favored by 10. I never bet Tulane: too much of my heart to make a dispassionate assessment, but tempting to take the points and bet SM. One of the posters on the Tulane board summed it up perfectly: Conroy gonna Conroy.

USF is horrific. Trust me if anyone loses to us this year they should fire their HC.

RE: 12/22 Basketball games
if things go right, Memphis should be 9-3 (1-0 AAC) going into the New Year...that said, Tulane beat us last season...an d IUPUIs HC is a former Pastner Asst and knows our weaknesses.

sad times for Tiger hoops...

That was great advice back in the 80s.

Fox sports owns the Vegas tournament we are in but won't be airing any of the games. Guess BMX racing is more important.

Cincy better not Coog it tonight or I have to wash my cousin's car. Well, to be more precise, I have a mobile detailer that will do it but he doesn't need to know that.

They will be airing the last two tomorrow. How they didn't utilize FS2 or something to make it work is beyond me. Say the same shite with our tournament during Thanksgiving.

UConn's Amidah Brimah broke finger on right hand. Will miss 6-8 weeks, per school.

03-banghead He may not be an offensive juggernaut, but his defensive presence will be sorely missed. You could definitely see a difference his first game out vs UMass Lowell the other day. I will be incredibly surprised if we win @ Texas without him. 03-banghead

Ugh. Starting center. Will UConn struggle to earn an at-large bid now? They have a couple of other 6-10/6-11 guys, but they don't play much.

I'm really getting irritated by the bottom half of this conference....absolute dumpster fire.

No one is asking them to be a tourney teams, but losing (or getting blown out) by what should be far inferior competition is really getting old.
