Amendment 14 passed, you guys are that much closer to moving out of the Old Gray Lady.

I'm still in the extremely skeptical camp. Bammers will fight and scream until the thing is opened.

You guys should start a donation campaign just based around the hate for AL and what their board tried to do to you guys. I am sure you would get a ton of small donations.

I drive by the stadium every other week or so. And from the interstate I don't see any work going on. Not sure if the first year they won't just play with a football field drawn onto what's left of the baseball field in a baseball stadium.

Here is a top-down view of the progress as of 3/10. Several sections of seats have been removed and it appears a section of the precast concrete bowl has been taken out near former 1st base. There are cranes inside now and I imagine we'll begin to see more progress ramp up soon.

SO this will be ready by the beginning of the 2017 football season? If so, I can't wait. Just moved to the Smyrna/Cumberland area and can't wait to watch Troy beat the crap of the Panthers there.

Still looks a lot like a baseball field and stadium. Only 5 months to go until kickoff.

This upcoming fall it should still look like a baseball stadium just from the time constraints that Georgia State was under to have it ready for this fall. We should be able to see the biggest changes take place after this upcoming season.

Already looks better than what they had because this really is home. Now if USA would get things going the SBC would be in good shape with football stadiums. Sorry Idaho....can't really count you. Wish I could.

Trust me, I'm on pins and needles waiting for that announcement. It can't come soon enough.

Looking out from the former premium club area toward former home plate. Dugouts have been removed, more precast sections have been removed, and individual seat removal continues.

Maybe they can still play the spring game there.

That would be incredible, but seeing as the spring game is scheduled for April 15th (3.5 weeks from today) I think that is 100% off the table. The grass and dirt has been driven over by trucks and construction equipment for the past couple weeks and is in really rough shape. Not to mention the seating bowl is halfway disassembled at the moment.

Most likely sites right now are our soccer stadium or one of the local HS football stadiums. We should know in the next week or so. They said they're working on finalizing the location, which would lead me to believe it's an off-campus venue.

I'm waiting on that announcement too. Is USA going to be the only team left that doesn't have an OOC stadium in the sunbelt?

Looks like great progress. Question, could the right field seats be all taken out to make it look less like a baseball stadium (or maybe this is already in the plans...don't know).

See the renderings. Part of the plan.
