I don't get how people can despise a city they live or work in for 5+ years. You don't like it? Leave. It will be better for your soul. There are other towns with similar jobs that might suit you better. All towns have issues that they work through, and Atlanta and the Metro area is no different. The pluses outnumber the minuses. But some people who live in and around here would make you think they have a gun to their head to be here. I don't get it.

Stadium looks nice. Congrats. I root for Atl pro sports teams but don't care for the city. Guess that is why I moved away in 2001 and never looked back. Nashville fits me well.

Don't get it either or why its bought up as a constant issue related to GSU. Can only surmise its a function of our being the only football playing city school in the conference. But like Stan says, why have heartburn, don't like it move. I can tell you that more are moving here STILL, than are moving away.
