No excuses made, just pointing out some facts that exacerbate Rice's issues with attendance.

Rice should absolutely be in the Sweet Sixteen every year, make the CWS annually, and play in a major FBS bowl every couple years. Anything less is unacceptable.

Starts with the administration seeing it that way. What are they committed to. We were talking about Miami at work and the big question being do they want to be Stanford or Wake. That is the real question. It takes real commitment for a private school to say they want to be Stanford or Baylor in athletics.
