The man will forever be remembered for this one moment in his life...and he's had a LOT of other memorable moments on TV as a comedian and host of Family Feud.

I watched the last part of the pageant, and noticed that Harvey seemed very stilted and nervous in his live tv announcing parts throughout. It was not a surprise when he read the wrong name (actually he did read the right name, but the wrong title...Miss Columbia was 1st runner up, but the way he had been announcing the slowly shrinking field of contestants up to that point it seemed like he was close to doing it wrong throughout).

An amazing moment to watch the woman from Columbia become Miss Universe for a few minutes, than have her crown taken off and given to someone else. Kind of a rip off for Miss Philippines to not get her proper walk and crowning moment on tv. When Harvey said she was the Miss Universe and Miss Philippines take your walk, she just stood there stunned.

Harvey did about as well as he could with trying to correct his gaffe, showing the card to the cameras, but it must have been a heck of a moment for him when they told him he had to go back onstage and recant.

No, I believe it was Steve Harvey's honest mistake. He had been reading and announcing the results weird all evening. Very stilted and nervous. He also was awkward during the question and answer segments with the finalists.

The thing I was surprised about was that Miss Dominican Republic was not in the final 5. I think she was way better than Miss Columbia.

I love Miss USA - her smile can light up the whole room. Really thought the final 3 would be France, USA, and Colombia with either France or USA going to take the crown.

Looks to me like his phone auto-corrected those two words and he didn't notice.

Look at it this way, many people are learning how to correctly spell Colombia and Philippines (including myself) through this.

Now, if we could just get Steve Harvey to help with "They're" , "There" and "Their" and "Your" and "You're" we could really make some progress!

His best moment ever

This has been a miserable month for Miss Philippians. First she loses in the Miss Bible pageant to Miss 2 Timothy, and now this.

I guess Harvey's gaffe will rise to the top of these lists...One person that is ecstatic about what Steve Harvey did is 2007 Miss South Carolina Caitlin Upton, as she finally gets bumped from the top spot on these lists.

I hate it for Steve Harvey. I love watching him on the Feud. He is a really funny guy.
