Thank you very much, thank you very much, that's the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for me.

I forgot to include "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol".

It sounds a bit bizarre, but things the way they are, I feel as if another life's begun for me. . .

This week I watched The Family Man, something like It's A Wonderful Life. Nicholas Cage is a millionaire transported to an alternate reality, where he wants to stay as the husband of Tea Leoni.

Definitely going with "It's a Wonderful Life" as number 1. If you ever get the chance to see it on the big screen, it's worth going. I saw it at the Rice Media Center with my girlfriend back in the early 80's. Fantastic experience (both the movie and date).
For my second choice, I'm going outside the box a bit. It's a classic WWII POW movie that takes place during Christmas time, and has a fantastic, feel-good ending. It's not thought of as a holiday classic, but I often find myself re-watching it during the Christmas season: Stalag 17.

How could I have forgotten "1941"?
(that's rhetorical - I love "1941")
Having remembered, it is now sitting in first place.

Good call! Certainly not thought of as a holiday movie but Christmas themes appear throughout. I think I'm supposed to be embarrassed by this, but 1941 is one of my all time favorite movies. Probably has something to do with seeing it for the first time as a 15 year old. And I'm sure Grungy will agree the soundtrack is spectacular.
